Description:
Alcohol denat. (denatured alcohol) is ethanol mixed with denaturing agents to make it unsuitable for consumption. It is used in cosmetics as a quick-drying solvent and to enhance product absorption. It helps control oil and gives a lightweight finish in sprays and gels. When balanced with moisturizers, it can be well tolerated by the skin.
- Can cause reactions to sensitive skin.
- Works as an antiseptic.
- Not recommended for dry skin, scalp or nails.
